About Caregiver’s Support Groups

Are you caring for a spouse or someone who is physically or mentally challenged? Are you seeking a place where others will understand the challenges this brings into your life? We have a caregiver’s groups that meets regularly.

More than four years ago Sabra Cleveland tapped Care Coordinator Elizabeth Stephan on the shoulder and asked for help, that’s how the Women’s Caregiver’s Support Group began. With that beginning several women now gather Monday afternoons, every other week for support and comfort for their days as primary caregivers. “It’s comforting to know that you aren’t alone, you could cry, you could laugh. Elizabeth created a space for us that was safe, nonjudgmental and very loving. Caregiving can be stressful and a lot of caregivers think they need to do it all but there is help out there, you don’t have to go through it by yourself.”
