Come learn some tricks for helping our kids get the nutrition they need.

The workshop will cover nutritional needs for kids, picky eating, food allergies and intolerances, growth and weight gain and other topics of interest. You will get a variety of family friendly recipes and meal and snack ideas.

When: Saturday, March 14, 9 to 11 am

Where: First Pres Church 230 NE Ninth Street, Bend, OR 97701

Suggested donation: $10.00 to cover cost of food and materials

Kids Are Welcome: A program for children 4 and up will be offered while parents are in workshop; nursery care will be available for infants through 3 year olds. We will do a food project with parents and kids after the parent session.

 

Lori Brizee MS, RDN, LD, CDE, Pediatric Nutrition Specialist will lead the workshop.

Lori Brizee has been working in pediatric nutrition for the past 36 years, including 20 years at Seattle Children’s hospital and 14 years in private practice. She currently sees children for any health care provider in the office of Erika Beard-Irvine MD Pediatrics, and teaches nutrition at OSU Cascades.
