“…new life starts in the dark. Whether it is a seed in the ground, a baby in the womb, or Jesus in the tomb, it starts in the dark.” ~Barbara Brown Taylor I have been hesitant to post this because there have been so many setbacks and unexpected twists and turns on this journey.
Easter, it seems, has come early to us. After 28 fragile and precarious days in the ICU, the stone has been rolled away and Laurie has been transferred to a room in Intermediate Care. The journey of healing will continue to be a long and winding road but our hearts overflow with gratitude to find ourselves on that road. The outpouring of love, prayers and support has and will continue to sustain us. Thank you seems inadequate but we want all of you to know that your care is a tremendous source of healing and strength.
