Tuesdays, September 15-October 27, 10:00-11:00am. “Living with Cancer,” is a support group for those with cancer and those who support them. During our six weeks together we will explore spiritual resources and practices for the journey with cancer and share what each of us has found helpful. Our goal is to transform some of this journey from its burden to experiences that can be life affirming and life enriching.
Our facilitator is Barry Heath, a Presbyterian Pastor and hospital chaplain who has found sharing the journey through devastating illness can be a profoundly sacred and life nourishing experience. He brings to this group practical ideas and spiritual practices from a wide range of traditions. But, most important, he facilitates the group so that we can all learn from and support each other in this journey. to learn more or sign-up to participate with this group contact Elizabeth Stephan at[email protected] or 541 382 4401.
