Alternative Christmas Market | Sundays Nov. 30, Dec. 7 & 14 (Commons)

Give gifts this season that reflect the love and hope of the Christ child and make the world a better place. At our market, there will be gifts to purchase that support our many inspiring mission projects. This is a simple way to make a big impact for our missions while checking some names off of your Christmas list!

 

Advent Zoom Devotions | Weekdays Dec. 1 – Dec. 24 at 8AM-8:30AM (Online)

Join Pastor Steven and Pastor Sharon weekday mornings during Advent. We center our hearts, read a poem, invite reflection, pray with and for one another and end with a blessing. All are welcome to join any morning that you are able.

Grief & the Holidays | Mondays Dec. 1 & 8 at 6:30PM-7:30PM (Online)

A time to gather with kindred spirits, learn how grief impacts our bodies, practice simple tools for healing and make a plan for walking through this season. Please register at www.bendfp.org/holidaygrief by Sunday, Nov. 30th

 

Advent Noon Communion | Wednesdays Dec. 3, 10 & 17 @ 12PM (Sanctuary)

Join us for a 30 minute contemplative worship service with communion. A 20 minute time of Centering Prayer will follow for those who wish to stay. It is a great opportunity midweek to recenter, renew and recharge.

 

Youth White Elephant Exchange | Sunday, Dec. 7, 3PM-5PM (Youth Room)

All Middle and High School students are invited to join us for our white elephant gift exchange party! Festive attire encouraged! You are invited to bring a small gift(under $10- the more random the better!) for the exchange (we will provide gifts for anyone who does not have one).

 

Advent Dinner & Service Project | Wednesday, Dec. 10 at 6PM (Heritage Hall)

Join us for a heartwarming experience as we share a meal and spread some light and hope this season by assembling Warming Kits for local shelters to give to houseless guests. We will provide a rice bowl dinner, please bring a dessert to share.

Carols & Cheer! | Sunday, Dec. 14, 5PM-6PM (Heritage Hall)

We can’t wait to share some tasty holiday brews & beverages and sing
together! Find your most festive attire (corny sweaters encouraged) and join us for an evening of incredible holiday fun and connecting with each other. Bring a favorite holiday treat to share (optional). All ages welcome!

 

The Longest Night (Online) | Monday, Dec. 15 at 7PM (Online via Zoom)

A safe and sacred space of music, readings and reflection that honors the more difficult emotions of the season. Join on behalf of yourself or on behalf of others.  Please register by Sunday, Dec. 14th at www.bendfp.org/longestnight

 

The Longest Night Service IN PERSON | Sunday, Dec. 21 @ 7PM (Sanctuary)

The Longest Night is a service offering safe and sacred space for those for whom this season is anything but merry or bright. Please join us and invite others you know who are struggling this time of year.

After gathering for three beautiful Christmas Eve services, we’re taking a quiet pause the following Sunday. There will be no in-person worship on Sunday, Dec. 28—but an invitation to rest, to breathe, and to carry the light of Christ into your homes. Light a candle. Read Luke 2:1–20. Listen to the songs of the season. Join us online or on KTVZ for our virtual worship services as we continue to celebrate Emmanuel—God with us.

Regular in-person worship will resume Sunday, January 4th at 8:30AM & 10AM
