About Becca Ellis

I am at First Presbyterian because I am drawn to the vision this church community has of embodying Spacious Christianity and creating spaces of grace and healing, all while allowing each individual to be themselves and follow their own path to transformation. I am so excited to be a part of the awesome work to be done here in Bend, and I know there is so much for me to learn from serving at First Presbyterian. I look forward to reaching out to the community in authentic ways that partner with families in the work God is already doing here.

Before moving to Bend to be the Director of Children & Family Ministry, I was spending most of my time with my three wonderful kids. I worked as a preschool teacher for a number of years, dappled in photography and spent time organizing playdates and other fun meet ups for moms in my community to connect with one another.  I enjoy running, cooking and baking, playing music, painting, and spending time exploring in nature with my friends and family.  I am always up for a cup of tea or coffee with good company (or a good book!).
